'Yesss', 'brings joy to my heart': Some Liverpool fans erupt over Wednesday news

Some Liverpool fans have welcomed the news that Trent Alexander-Arnold and Diogo Jota will be available for this weekend’s Premier League game.

Alexander-Arnold sustained a muscle problem prior to the international break.

This meant he was absent from the Champions League win away at Porto and the 2-2 Premier League draw at home to Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Jota was released early from international duty as a muscle issue prevented him from training before his country’s victory over Qatar last Saturday.

However, Liverpool confirmed that both are set to train fully with their teammates ahead of Saturday’s meeting with Watford.

Jurgen Klopp told the Reds media team on Wednesday: “They are all good, they are all in a good way, let me say it like this.

“So it looks really like Trent and Diogo will be fine, they will train with us tomorrow completely normal, that’s the plan.

“Thiago needs probably a little bit longer, [he] was not in team training yet – that’s always not a good sign for starting the next game.

“And the rest [of the] international [players], some are back, obviously some are not back yet. And we will see.”

Here is what some Liverpool fans made of the news:

Liverpool currently sit second in the Premier League table on 15 points and remain the only unbeaten team in the top flight.
