‘Yes yes yes’, ‘hope this is a joke’: Some Spurs fans react to reported interest in £110k-a-week man
A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been commenting on Twitter about the report in The Mirror linking Spurs with Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana.
The Reds ace will be out of contract at Anfield at the end of the 2019-20 season and is widely expected to leave for pastures new.
Lallana has spent six seasons at Liverpool, making 178 appearances, but has suffered injury issues and as such has slipped down the pecking order.

According to The Mirror, Leicester City are frontrunners, as boss Brendan Rodgers hopes to team up with the midfielder he signed for the Reds back in 2014.
However, Jose Mourinho’s Spurs are also said to be in the race for the £110,000-a-week man, along with North London rivals Arsenal, plus West Ham and now Burnley.
With clubs set to be frugal in the upcoming transfer market in wake of the global health crisis and the financial uncertainty it brings, free transfers could be highly sought after.
What have Tottenham fans made of the report? Below is some of the social media reaction:
No thanks.

Yes yes yes. Would add quality depth in the squad. Great rotation player with a bagful of clever tricks with a decent pass and an eye for goal

I sincerely hope this is a joke, although it’s not funny. Hes a total waste of space and wouldn’t make Spurs 2nd team.

Decant player when he’s in the mood.
