‘Yes please’, ‘no way’: Some Spurs fans react to transfer report on £9.5m ace

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the latest transfer report regarding Jan Vertonghen’s future, as per the Evening Standard.

According to the report, the Spurs defender is on the radar of Serie A side Inter Milan, who signed Christian Eriksen from the North London club in January.

Vertonghen’s contract at Tottenham expires at the end of the season and there has been no indication that he will follow in Toby Alderweireld’s footsteps and sign a new deal at Spurs.

Inter have snapped up several players from the Premier League in the past year, with Eriksen joining the likes of Ashley Young, Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Victor Moses in switching from England to Italy.
