‘Yes please’, ‘decent’: Some Spurs fans discuss £44m sharpshooter who reportedly wants N17 move

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been giving their thoughts on the transfer report claiming Real Betis striker Loren Moron is keen to join Giovani Lo Celso at Spurs.

The 26-year-old has emerged as a transfer target for several clubs in Europe, including Tottenham, after scoring 11 goals and claiming three assists in 29 appearances in all competitions (Transfermarkt).

Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo has claimed that Moron, who played alongside Lo Celso at Betis last season, is keen on joining the Argentine at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It follows an earlier report from La Razon claiming Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho was eyeing the player as a possible replacement for Harry Kane, whose future at Spurs remains the subject of much speculation.

Serie A sides Napoli and AC Milan have also been linked with Moron, according to Calciomercato.

Meanwhile, Barcelona were linked with him in January (Goal) and were even considering moving for him on an emergency deal (The Sun) before ultimately opting for Martin Braithwaite.

The Marbella-born marksman had a relatively lacklustre season last time out, with just seven goals in 33 La Liga appearances, and AS claims Betis were willing to accept €10million for him in the summer.

However, Moron himself reportedly rejected the move over concerns about first-team football elsewhere, and now he’s firing on all cylinders again, Betis won’t consider any offers below his release clause, believed to be between €40million (£36.5million) and €50million (£44million).

Here is what some Tottenham fans on social media have said about the prospect of Moron joining Lo Celso at Spurs:
