Yerry Mina’s injury setback is a bighuge blow for Everton.
As reported by L’Equipe, the Colombian World Cup Star could miss the next few weeks after aggravating his metatarsal injury.
The summer signing from Barcelona hasn’t featured for his new club yet.

The giant centre-half seemed to be closing in on full fitness, but fans will have to wait a little longer for his debut.
And his prolonged absence is untimely for Everton. The club have struggled defensively this season, and now the Toffees face arguably the best three forwards outside of the top six in succession.
Fulham, Leicester and Palace threats
Everton take on Fulham at Goodison Park on Saturday, with physical brute Aleksandar Mitrovic in fine goalscoring fettle.
In theory, Mina would have been an ideal counter against the Serbian; both on the ground and in the air.

Next up is Leicester City and Jamie Vardy. Mina’s pace and strength would probably have come in super handy against the electric Englishman.
And the weekend after that Everton take on Crystal Palace. Palace have Wilfried Zaha, who is arguably the best of the bunch. Everton would have loved to have Mina back for that game, with the Ivorian a massive threat with his pace.
A test for Kurt Zouma
With Mina’s return still not any time soon, it’ll be a big chance for Kurt Zouma to shine.

Zouma has been steady at the back so far, and could earn major plaudits if he can keep Mitrovic, Vardy and Zaha quiet.
It’s a big blow for the Toffees not being able to call on Mina ahead of some testing fixtures.
