Wolverhampton Wanderers are the latest club to be linked with a move for Colombia World Cup star Yerry Mina. As reported by The Sun, the newly-promoted side are hoping that super agent Jorge Mendes can help broker a deal for the Barcelona player. Mina, who is also being targeted by Everton, excelled for Colombia at the World Cup. However, Barcelona are keen to sell as they are at their non-EU player limit.

Wolves have become used to completing eye-catching transfers. Just this summer they signed Portugal number one Rui Patricio. Mina would be another fantastic acquisition.

But what would it mean for the club captain at Molineux?

Danny Batth has been with Wolves since he was ten-years-old. Apart from loan spells at Colchester, Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday, the 27-year-old is a one-club man.

He made his debut when Wolves were last in the Premier League and has played with them as low as League One. So undoubtedly, he loves the club.

However, the arrival of Mina would surely have him questioning his future. Batth played just 13 times last season. With the arrival of Willy Boly coupled with the form of Ryan Bennett and Conor Coady, Batth spent much of his season on the bench.

With West Brom already said to be keen, Mina could easily thrust Batth out of the matchday squad and out of the Molineux exit door.
