‘Yeah’, ‘league isn’t ready’: Some Spurs fans react to exciting report on 26-year-old

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the talkSPORT report saying Harry Kane’s hamstring injury has fully healed.

The Spurs talisman has been out of action since sustaining a hamstring injury in Tottenham’s 1-0 defeat at Southampton on New Year’s Day.

There were initial fears that Kane looked set to miss the entirety of the 2019-20 season (The Guardian) but the player himself then said he hoped to be back by mid-April (Evening Standard).

The global health crisis has since led to numerous major changes across the country, with football in England having been suspended since mid-March.

With regards to football, however, a Sky News report on Saturday claimed that the Premier League could return within weeks behind closed doors.

TalkSPORT issued an update earlier this week saying the break in action has benefited Kane, who is back in full training as his hamstring has fully healed, and providing the campaign resumes, he’ll be ready to return to action.

Here is how some Spurs fans reacted on social media about the 26-year-old’s reported full recovery:

Kane has scored 17 goals this season, of which 11 have been in the Premier League.
