Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi has taken to Twitter with a positive injury update, which has prompted plenty of Gunners fans to rejoice on the social media platform.
The 28-year-old picked up a hamstring strain late in the 2-0 FA Cup semi-final win over Manchester City at Wembley, being replaced by Rob Holding for the final few minutes.
Early last week, Arsenal confirmed in a statement that Mustafi had “a successful small procedure” after it was assessed.

While the centre-back has begun his recovery and rehabilitation following the surgery, Arsenal’s statement said he is “aiming to return to full training in October”.
On Saturday, Mustafi shared a picture of himself in a celebratory pose and the caption: “That moment when you can finally walk again without crutches.”
Cue plenty of Arsenal fans happy with the news and plenty of comments hailing another step closer to his comeback:
Mustafi was frozen out at Arsenal under Unai Emery but Mikel Arteta’s arrival at the Emirates Stadium gave the defender’s Gunners career a new lease of life.
Prior to his injury, the Germany international had started nine out of 10 matches following the Premier League restart.
