Yannick Bolasie responds to Everton fan when asked if he misses Romelu Lukaku

Yannick Bolasie has responded to an Everton fan during a Q&A session on Twitter when asked if he misses Inter Milan goal machine Romelu Lukaku – and made it his feelings clear on his former teammate.

Bolasie joined Everton in the summer of 2016 from Crystal Palace and instantly struck up a solid partnership with Belgian powerhouse Lukaku. But just one season after Bolasie joined, Lukaku moved to Manchester United.

Now banging in the goals at Inter Milan – netting a whopping 26 goals in 42 league and cup appearances for Antonio Conte’s side – Lukaku is yet to be properly replaced at Everton. Moise Kean and Cenk Tosun have been big-money signings.

But both have failed, while Dom Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison have plugged the gap somewhat – they have failed to replicate Lukaku’s 87 goals in 166 appearances. Bolasie responded to a fan when asked, and Lukaku himself responded.

Lukaku joined Inter last summer from Manchester United, and has since gone on to shine as one of many Premier League imports under Conte. Ashley Young, Victor Moses, Christian Eriksen and Alexis Sanchez are all on the books at Inter.

Everton supporters reacted to Lukaku’s response to Bolasie – who remains and Everton player despite loans to Sporting Lisbon and Aston Villa. Many urged £115k-a-week (Telegraph) Lukaku to return to Goodison Park, a move which is though, very unlikely.
