Yannick Bolasie posts verdict as Everton finally complete Josh King signing
Josh King finally completed a move to Everton on deadline day as the Toffees took advantage of using a Premier League deal sheet to get the transfer done – and Yannick Bolasie has posted a two-word verdict on the move.
King, 29, joins Everton from Championship side Bournemouth having been linked with a return to the top flight of English football ever since The Cherries were relegated last season. He has failed to score in the league this term.
However, the 51-time Norway international has an excellent record in the Premier League – scoring 48 goals in 161 games, many of which have come out wide or in the 10 role. He provides Everton with some much-needed cover.
Everton finalised a move after using a deal sheet – as did Southampton to get Liverpool’s Takumi Minamino on loan. Sky Sports claim the fee is a “nominal” one, and that King has only agreed a six-month contract.

Cenk Tosun returned to Besiktas after a dismal spell on Merseyside since being signed by Sam Allardyce in January 2018, while Moise Kean has remained at PSG where he continues to shine under Mauricio Pochettino.
Bolasie, who left Everton to join Middlesbrough earlier on in the window, reacted to the news that Everton had completed a move for the ex-Manchester United man – describing him as a “good signing”, before elaborating.
Good signing 👏🏿
