Aston Villa recorded a dramatic 5-5 home draw against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night in the Championship and it leaves them eighth in the league table.

The Midlands giants will have serious question marks over their defence, but going forward their attackers proved they have real quality.

Villa centre-forward Tammy Abraham stole the show with his four-goal heroics, but it was also an impressive night for Yannick Bolasie on his first ever start for the club.

The 29-year-old dazzler is currently on loan at the Championship club from Everton and his first 10 appearances have come off the bench as a substitute.

But the right-winger finally earned a starting role and he made a direct impact before being taken off in the second period.

His inch-perfect cross landed straight on the head of Abraham to score, while he was also fouled in the box after some quick dribbling and his attacking teammate converted the penalty.

Bolasie is an unpredictable wide man that will be inconsistent, but he is capable of moments of magic in any game and should be on course for more league action.

The speed machine brings a fresh dimension to Villa in the final third and can play an important role over the course of the season in a promotion bid.

He should have confidence from his recent display and supporters may see tons more in the coming weeks.
