Xherdan Shaqiri should be recalled to the Liverpool XI against Wolves
Liverpool travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Friday night in the Premier League and will be hoping to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are still unbeaten 17 games into the season and a point ahead of reigning champions Manchester City at the summit.
But the fixtures now begin to pile up during a hectic festive schedule and that starts with a potential banana skin at Molineux, where Wolves have already beaten Chelsea and drawn with Manchester City.
Liverpool have the squad to make a few rotations to their XI and it seems a no-brainer that Klopp recalls Xherdan Shaqiri to the side.
Shaqiri came off the bench at the weekend to inspire the Merseyside club to a 3-1 win over Manchester United with his two goals.
The 27-year-old attacking midfielder is proving to be a shrewd summer signing and he needs a starting berth on Friday.

Shaqiri, who earns £90,000-a-week (Spotrac), would be an ideal option to slot into part of a midfield three and receive the licence to join in with attacks.
The Switzerland international could prove Wolves real problems if he gets in-between the pocket of the back three and midfield, something which is a big feature of his game.
He should provide fresh legs and major confidence for the contest, while it’s important that Klopp utilities his squad over the coming weeks.
Shaqiri can run Wolves riot if he is near his best and the dazzling left-footed creator is loving live at Anfield right now.
