Arsenal slipped to a 3-0 defeat against Crystal Palace last night, suffering a blow to their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.
Granit Xhaka ended up at left-back, following Kieran Tierney’s injury and another disappointing night for Nuno Tavares, who has ability but remains raw.
Football.London spotted a moment in the second half of the game where the Swiss international was not at all impressed with teammate Gabriel.

They wrote that Xhaka got a sub-par ball from the defender and felt he had to foul Jordan Ayew to stop that situation developing into a worse one.
After getting booked, Xhaka then shouted at Gabriel for the loose ball on a night where Arsenal did not cover themselves in glory.
Xhaka has of course come in for criticism himself numerous times down the years; mainly for his tackling when Arsenal need composure.

He may be pressed into action out of position at left-back for the remainder of the campaign, with Tierney reportedly not expecting to play again this term.
That would be a risk for Mikel Arteta, but there is no perfect solution given the form of Tavares in the recent opportunities he has had.
Perhaps this is where loaning out Ainsley Maitland-Niles and letting Sead Kolasinac go as well has left Arsenal short, but Arteta would no doubt argue that his decisions were made for the good of the group.
