Liverpool target Kylian Mbappe will reportedly not extend his contract with PSG for the time being.

According to L’Equipe, the 22-year-old French superstar has no intention of signing a new deal with the Ligue 1 side. As reported by Marca, Liverpool have made enquiries to PSG over Mbappe.

With the attacker’s contract expiring in 2022, Mbappe could become a highly sought after free agent in 12 months time. As per the Marca report, Real Madrid also hold an interest in the French international.

Indeed, Mbappe has been linked with a move to Liverpool since establishing himself as one of the best players in world football.

The forward has gone from strength to strength since making the move to the Parisian club. Euro 2020, however, was Mbappe’s first blemish on his outstanding career.
