Everton fans have taken to Twitter to react after Hummel released the club’s strips for the 2021/22 season.
What’s the story?
Well, Hummel seem to have taken a step back to 2016/17 with their latest design.
It, of course, features the traditional blue covering most of the home shirt.
However, this time, Hummel have brought back the yellow trim around the neck and sleeves, which we saw in 2016/17.
One fan below seemed quite happy about that, while others felt the new kit was ‘disappointing’ to see.
In our view, it’s quite nice. Hummel have kept it simple, whereas some kit creators often go overboard and overcomplicate their designs.
Having said that…

Unlucky Jordan Pickford.
It involves a black shirt, with unorganised yellow stripes running down the centre.
We can also see some random blue stripes running down alongside the outer yellow lines – it really is a crazy design.

Who knows? It might grow on us. After all, the kits often look better once they’re being worn out on the pitch.
However, for now, the jury is out.
Let’s see what the Everton fans on Twitter have been saying about the club’s tweet…
