'Wow', 'Ruben's face says it all': Some Wolves fans blown away by one player in training today

Wolves have shared an impressive training-ground clip of a goal from Max Kilman, which went down well amongst fans.

Molineux manager Bruno Lage has been putting his players through their paces ahead of Saturday’s Premier League trip to Aston Villa.

And Kilman has been a crucial player for Wolves this season, playing every minute of every Premier League game for Lage’s charges.

The 24-year-old is a centre-back by trade, but in training, he showed off the kind of ball control and firepower an attacker would’ve been proud of.

After an outrageous backheeled first touch to control the ball and Bergkamp-esque turn, he unleashed a curling effort into the net off the woodwork.

Admittedly there wasn’t a goalkeeper to make a save – Ruben Neves was standing in the middle of the goal and looked shocked after the ball went in – but that was the kind of effort no keeper could actually save.

Here is what Wolves fans made of Kilman’s skills and goal:

Kilman joined Wolves in 2018 from Maidenhead United and has made 41 appearances in old gold.

Wolves are currently 12th in the Premier League table on nine points, while Villa are 10th on 10 points.
