A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to praise Alfredo Morelos after the Ibrox star shared footage of a sensational goal he scored in training for Steven Gerrard’s side.

The 24-year-old has enjoyed a superb season for Rangers, registering 15 goals and 12 assists in all competitions.

Morelos’ 10 goals and four assists in the Scottish Premiership have helped Gerrard’s side bring Scottish Premiership title number 55 to Ibrox.

Up next for the Gers is their Europa League last-16 second leg meeting with Slavia Prague on Thursday.

The tie is evenly poised at 1-1, with Rangers boasting a crucial away goal, and in training on Tuesday, Morelos showed he’s got his shooting boots on, and then some.

He collected the ball and flicked it over his opponent’s head before smashing a volley into the top corner of the net from distance.

Needless to say, plenty of Bears loved what they saw:

Rangers have a big few days ahead of them, hoping to reach the Europa League quarter-finals on Thursday, before contesting the Old Firm derby on Sunday.

Although the title has been wrapped up, the Gers will hope to deal another humiliating blow to their beleaguered rivals, and the fanbase will expect nothing less than a convincing win.
