Mauro Icardi

The 23-year-old Argentine has been attracting interest from the Premier League due to his impressive performances at Inter Milan. Now in his third season at Internazionale, he has become the spear-head of their attack. Icardi’s goal record is impressive – he has bagged 15 goals in 28 appearances for Inter thus far and it is no surprise that clubs are keeping tabs on his performances.

Chelsea and Manchester United are the latest clubs to be linked with the Argentine striker who has all the attributes to be a success in England. Icardi is quick, strong, intelligent and has a great technique – he has everything required to be a world class striker. It still remains to be seen if Inter can hold onto their talisman, he has already revealed  “if any offers come in, then we have got to talk about them”.

Arsene Wenger enters his final year this summer with many reporting that there is pressure on him from above to spend big, especially if he has any designs on extending his current deal. However, he will face a toxic atmosphere as the unrest continues at the Emirates.
