Leeds United midfielder Pablo Hernandez has been spotted in a protective boot after Saturday’s loss to Birmingham City, The Yorkshire Post reports.
The Whites crashed out of the automatic promotion spots at the weekend as Che Adams scored the only goal in Birmingham’s 1-0 win.
And a bad day at the office was made even worse when news of an injury to Hernandez emerged.
Leeds are confident that the Spaniard’s injury is not too serious (as per The Yorkshire Post) but his left foot in a protective boot is a concern.

The 33-year-old has been vital for Leeds this season, scoring 12 goals and providing 11 assists in the Championship.
Without their midfield playmaker, Leeds lack that creative spark that can open up a game. If he is seriously injured, it could be a major stumbling block in the quest for promotion.
Leeds fans took to Twitter to panic about Hernandez and fret about how long he could be out for. Here are some of the best tweets about the midfielder’s injury scare.
