Liverpool have been linked with Josko Gvardiol in recent weeks.
In December, 90Min reported that the Reds are one of many top clubs eyeing the Croatia international.
As well as Liverpool, the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham and Real Madrid are also in pursuit.

Gvardiol enhanced his reputation as one of the best youngsters in world football at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The 20-year-old helped Croatia reach the semi-finals and subsequently clinch third place at the tournament.
Better yet for Liverpool, Gvardiol has made it clear how much he likes the Anfield outfit.
“When I took football more seriously, I started following them,” he said in 2021, as per the Liverpool Echo.
“And I definitely want the Premier League and Liverpool one day.
Gvardiol has now reiterated how fond he is of the Reds, who he supported as a child.
Croatian outlet Danas asked him where he’d have loved to play football when he was a 10-year-old.
“That would definitely be Liverpool,” replied Gvardiol.
“Since I was little, I watched a lot of Liverpool matches with my dad, and we covered every season in detail.
“It is a club that has remained in my heart.”

Liverpool probably taking notes
It’s always great to hear when a top player speaks highly – and relatively unprompted – about your club.
Although Liverpool are fairly well stocked at centre-back, Virgil van Dijk is out for the foreseeable future.
With that in mind, the Reds will surely be keeping their eyes open on potential new additions.
Admittedly, Gvardiol is a big talent with a huge price tag, so a January deal is probably not on the cards.
Nonetheless, Liverpool will no doubt be taking notes as to which defenders they should pursue over the summer and beyond.
And Gvardiol, who Fabrizio Romano has deemed “one of best talents in the world in general and in his position probably the best talent in this moment”, will surely fit the bill.
