Tarkowski has been a consistent performer for Burnley in his five seasons since arriving from Brentford.

Last season, he played in 36 Premier League matches, after featuring in all 38 the previous year.

The Telegraph claims that the Clarets are determined to keep Tarkowski for next season.

However, they would need to weigh up whether another year is more valuable than the money they would receive for him.

Wolves competition for Tarkowski?

West Ham reportedly moved for Tarkowski last season and The Telegraph claimed they retained an interest this summer.

However, the Daily Mail has now speculated that the Hammers have dropped out of the race.

This would be good news for Wolves, who would have less competition for Tarkowski’s signature.

And Wanderers fans certainly seem keen about the prospect of the England international joining Molineux.
