'Would be insane': Tottenham fans react to Dane Scarlett's Europa League inclusion

Tottenham fans have been reacting with joy to the news that young striker, Dane Scarlett, is on the plane to Austria to face LASK tonight.

The 16-year-old forward made his debut to become Spurs’ youngester player last time out against Ludogrets, and could be in line for some minutes tonight as Harry Kane and Carlos Vinicius are set to miss out.

Scarlett is causing quite the stir in north London thanks to his emergence into the first-team picture. His cameo last week was impressive, and dispelled the myth that Jose Mourinho doesn’t really give youth a chance.

Ahead of tonight’s game, Spurs fans have been all over Twitter discussing Scarlett’s role in this evening’s tie.

It seems, then, that some supporters want to see the teenager start, while others are delighted to see him even involved in the squad.

I assume son will start and we will look to kill the game early and then bring him on and get him a bit longer to grab a goal hopefully
