‘Would be a dream’: Liverpool fans react to links with Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic

Liverpool fans have been responding on Twitter after surprise links emerged yesterday suggesting they could target Chelsea forward, Christian Pulisic.

The Daily Mail ran the story, claming that both Liverpool and Manchester United were on ‘red alert’, with Pulisic struggling for regular minutes under Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea.

Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in signing the USA international. Pulisic, 22, has found himself a victim of Tuchel’s often ruthless rotation system at Stamford Bridge.

However, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is well aware of the Pulisic’s talents and given his links with Dortmund, will no doubt have the full dossier on what he could bring to the table.

And on Twitter, Liverpool fans seemed excited by the prospect of seeing Pulisic in a red shirt. Although some had reservations over his injury problems, the overwhelming majority seemed to believe the Chelsea man would slot in nicely at Anfield.

Liverpool are having a torrid campaign and it would be a big surprise if they don’t make a few new signings this summer. It remains to be seen if the USA international is one of them.
