Gary Lineker has described Emile Smith Rowe’s goal for Arsenal against Chelsea as an “absolute beauty”.
The Gunners went into their trip to Stamford Bridge with a point to prove after losing their previous three Premier League games.
Considering Arsenal lost to three mid-table sides in a row, Chelsea away seemed like a daunting proposition.

However, Mikel Arteta’s charges were much improved in their 4-2 win, with Eddie Nketiah in particular stepping up for his side.
The 22-year-old – who Ian Wright recently slated for seemingly not showing enough drive – scored a brace for Arsenal.
Smith Rowe grabbed the Gunners’ second goal of the night, capping off a superb counter-attack.
Granit Xhaka kickstarted proceedings by calmly dribbling his way out of the Arsenal area.
He then found Martin Odegaard, who duly set Bukayo Saka down the right wing.
The England international then passed to Odegaard, who laid the ball for Smith Rowe to slot first-time into the corner.
Lineker loved what he saw from the Arsenal team, taking to Twitter with praise:
Arsenal took the lead three times in the game, but Chelsea pegged them back twice.
Timo Werner equalised after Nketiah’s first goal, and Cesar Azpilicueta cancelled out Smith Rowe’s effort.
However, Chelsea had no reply against Nketiah’s second.
And then, late on, a Saka penalty made sure of all three points for Arteta and co.
A great team effort, and Arsenal’s top-four challenge is still very much on.
