‘Worth about £40m after that’: Some Rangers fans in awe of one player’s ‘tremendous’ display last night

A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to rave about Ibrox maestro Glen Kamara following his superb display for Steven Gerrard’s charges last night.

Rangers were hoping to seal qualification to the knockout stages of the Europa League stages as they hosted Benfica at Ibrox.

Scott Arfield gave Rangers the lead in the seventh minute and Kemar Roofe scored a superb second for the hosts on 69 minutes.

However, James Tavernier put through his own net nine minutes later before Pizzi grabbed an equaliser in the 81st minute.

Despite the disappointment of another seemingly all-but won game ending up in a draw, Rangers’ unbeaten run continues, and they’re still on course to qualify from Group D.

And Kamara was instrumental on the night with a tireless and confident performance, while his stunning flick played a big part in the Gers’ second.

Needless to say, some Bears still cannot believe the club only paid £50,000 for the Finland ace:
