According to the print edition of The Sun via HITC Sport, Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann is a summer target for Newcastle United.

Rafa Benitez is eyeing reinforcements this summer and Dann appears on his wishlist. Crystal Palace will ask for £6m for their veteran centre-back.

The 32-year-old joined Crystal Palace in January 2014 and has since played just under 150 games. But he has recently lost his place in the starting line-up.

Mamadou Sakho and James Tomkins have overtaken Dann in Roy Hodgson’s pecking order. And a summer exit could be on the cards at the right price.

Newcastle are reportedly interested in the ex-England U21 defender. He has vast experience with over 200 Premier League appearances to his name.
