Spurs were served a reality check this weekend after Nuno Espirito Santo’s side lost 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.

The north London side were outplayed against their city rivals. Patrick Vieira’s side claimed their first win of the Premier League season. As for Spurs, the loss to Palace was crushing.

After Tottenham won their opening three Premier League games, the defeat to the Eagles felt like all their hard work had been undone in one afternoon.

And a worrying stat has emerged that has really highlighted how Spurs’ start to life under Nuno has been somewhat deceiving. Tottenham have faced more shots out of anyone in the Premier League so far this season.

Moreover, after the loss to Palace, Spurs have now created the least amount of chances this campaign. After all, Tottenham’s three Premier League wins this season have all been narrow 1-0 wins.

Indeed, something is not working at Spurs under Nuno. And supporters on social media are already fearing that the Portuguese coach will be out of the door if things don’t improve soon.
