Sunderland shared the points with automatic promotion rivals Luton Town in a tough fought League One clash yesterday.
Luton travelled to the Stadium of Light and were impressive, but they could only grind out a 1-1 draw.
The Black Cats took an early lead through Chris Maguire but were pegged back by James Collins’ second half penalty.
The game ended with ten men on each side as Danny Hylton and Maguire were both shown red cards.
After the game, Sunderland fans dissected the performance and one player was widely criticised.
Charlie Wyke, who joined from Bradford City last summer, failed to impress in the centre-forward role.

The 26-year-old has been injured for most of the season but has only managed two goals in his 10 appearances for the club.
Wyke netted on his debut and then scored in last week’s EFL Trophy win over Newcastle United’s under-21 side.
But with Josh Maja missing against Luton, Wyke was given a chance to impress and he struggled.
Sunderland fans criticised the former Middlesbrough man’s toothless display in front of goal and do not believe he can replace Maja if the young striker leaves.
Here are some opinions about Wyke from Sunderland fans.
