Arsenal legend Gilberto Silva has claimed that Bukayo Saka looks a little ‘worn out’ because of the number of games he has played.

The Gunners are on fire at the moment. They have won each of their last five games in the Premier League, scoring 21 times in the process. Saka has been one of Arsenal’s best players.

Gilberto Silva says Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka looks so tired

Bukayo Saka rarely ever gets a break at Arsenal.

The 22-year-old is one of the first names on Mikel Arteta‘s team sheet every single week, and he has been producing the goods this season as well.

Saka has scored 15 goals and provided 13 assists in all competitions for the Gunners this season in just 32 appearances.

That is an outrageous return, especially when you consider that he hasn’t looked at his best for large parts of the campaign.

That’s probably why Arsenal Invincible Gilberto Silva thinks Saka looks very tired ahead of the Gunners’ Champions League clash against Porto tonight.

Speaking about Arsenal to O Jogo, The Brazilian said: “Saka is the star, although he looks a bit worn out to me. He and Martinelli are very important up front.”

Saka actually looks a lot better now

There was a period earlier in the season when Bukayo Saka looked knackered every time he stepped on the pitch for Arsenal.

The Englishman even came under a bit of criticism for some of his performances, with some people saying he has become slower and others urging Mikel Arteta to give him a rest.

The winter break last month really seems to have helped Saka. He has looked a lot fresher since and has directly contributed to seven goals in his last five Premier League games.

Arsenal take on Porto in the Champions League tonight and Saka is expected to start. If he can carry on his form, the Gunners will likely come away with a win.
