‘World class’: Some Leicester fans in awe of one player’s FA Cup final heroics – Tielemans aside

A number of Leicester City fans have taken to Twitter to praise Wesley Fofana for his impressive performance in Saturday’s FA Cup final victory.

The Foxes have won the trophy for the first time in their history after beating Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley Stadium.

The winner came just after the hour mark, when Youri Tielemans collected a loose ball abour 30 yards out and let rip with an unstoppable effort into the top corner.

Leicester conceded late on as Wes Morgan put the ball into his own net, but VAR ruled it out due to an offside in the build-up.

All of Brendan Rodgers’ charges shone on the day but Fofana’s efforts were especially lauded.

The 20-year-old was a rock at the back, weighing in with six interceptions, five clearances, four blocks and two tackles.
