A number of Arsenal fans have waxed lyrical about Folarin Balogun’s impressive Thursday display for the England Under-21s.
The 20-year-old Gunners striker is one of the brightest youngsters to come through the Hale End ranks in recent years.
Many Arsenal fans were thrilled when Balogun put pen to paper on a new long-term contract in April following months of negotiations.

However, Balogun still remains on the fringes of the first team, largely plying his trade for the Under-23s.
Indeed, England U21s boss Lee Carsley feels the Gunners talent is too good for age-level football right now.
Ahead of the game, Carsley suggested that Balogun should look at a loan move away in January.
And on Thursday, the Arsenal youngster got his first goal for his nation at U21 level in a 3-1 win over Czech Republic U21s.
Everton’s Anthony Gordon netted an early brace before Balogun netted on the half-hour mark, latching on to Jacob Ramsey’s through-ball and firing home a composed finish.

Balogun also showed an impressive ability to press from the front, and could’ve added more to his tally on the night.
Here is what some Arsenal fans said about his display:
Adam Karabec pulled a goal back for the Czech Republic from the penalty spot in the 40th minute.
The result saw England go up to second in Group G, two points behind the Czechs.
