'World class display', 'magic': Liverpool-linked Euro 2020 maestro hailed by his nation's media, £17m reported price tag
Liverpool are reportedly looking at Aaron Ramsey as a potential signing.
The Reds are a midfielder short after Georginio Wijnaldum left Anfield at the end of the season.
According to Tutto Juve, Ramsey is on Jurgen Klopp’s shortlist.
The Bianconeri are reportedly looking for 20m euro, or around £17m.
However, they’re apparently open to doing business for 12m euro (around £10m).
And judging on Ramsey’s latest performance, Ramsey has a lot to offer Liverpool.
Wales beat Turkey 2-0 at Euro 2020 on Wednesday, with the 30-year-old playing a starring role for his nation.
Ramsey fired the Dragons in front on the stroke of half-time.
He then produced a battling display of real quality to help get Rob Page’s team over the line in Baku.
Liverpool could land player who is “class and composure personified”
Wales Online gave Ramsey 9 out of 10, making him their joint star man along with Gareth Bale.
“Cometh the hour, cometh the men,” they opened.
“Thus it was no surprise the victory charge was led by Wales’ superstars Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey, who produced moments of world class magic.”
On the subject of Ramsey himself, they wrote: “The big players stand up in the big games – so enter Aaron Ramsey.
“Scored his goal majestically, could have had others, made the play, linked the team, chased back to put in a last-gasp goal stopping tackle.
“His class oozed through from start to finish, class and composure personified.
“Turkey simply couldn’t cope with his brilliance.
“This was Ramsey rolling back the years and producing the kind of masterclass we regularly saw during Euro 2016 that saw him stamp his mark as the best midfielder in the tournament.
“Substituted in the final six minutes after he’d run himself into the ground.
“Quality. A world class display.”
