‘Won’t make a difference’: Tottenham fans discuss Graham Roberts calling for Dele Alli

Tottenham fans have been reacting on Twitter to former player Graham Roberts, who called for Dele Alli to be reinstated into the team following the loss to Chelsea.

Roberts took to Twitter to claim there was now ‘no excuses’ for Mourinho not selecting Alli, and called on the Spurs boss to put him back in ‘immediately’.

It was a big statement from Roberts. He is often passionate in his comments about his former club and was clearly hurting last night following the defeat to the Blues.

Alli was ruled out of the tie altogether with a knock. However, talks this week are believed to have taken place and it is widely expected that Mourinho could give the England man a chance in the coming weeks. And while that will be pleasing for Roberts and satisfy his call, not all Spurs fans are sure it’s the answer.
