Tottenham Hotspur boss, Jose Mourinho, looks set to be making moves already ahead of next season, with Ledley King set to be appointed to be part of his backroom team.

Sky Sports reports, via the Telegraph, that Mourinho has been impressed with King in recent months. The former Spurs star has been assisting with some defensive work for the club and has seemingly made an impression.

It looks like, then, that Spurs fans will be getting one of their all-time favourites back at the club.

King was a mainstay of the squad for over a decade, although injuries robbed him of his best form and years in the end.

However, there is massive respect in the game for King. He is seen as one of the best English defenders ever produced and is often cited as being massively unfortunate thanks to his considerable injury woes.

Spurs fans, then, have been loving the news coming out about King returning. Twitter was awash with positive comments from supporters, who can’t wait to see their man back with the club.
