A number of Liverpool fans have hailed Reds academy gem Oakley Cannonier following his latest goalscoring exploits.
The Liverpool Under-18s wrapped up their 2021 with a resounding 5-0 win over Burnley in the U18 Premier League.
And Cannonier took his tally for the season to 18 goals by netting the fifth at the Barnfield Training Centre.

Liverpool took a while to break the deadlock, Isaac Mabaya opening the scoring five minutes before the break.
Bobby Clark then made it 2-0 midway through the second half.
From then on, it was one-way traffic as Melkamu Frauendorf netted a brace in the last 10 minutes.
And Cannonier rounded off proceedings in injury time by finishing off a superb team move with his 15th league goal of the season.
The 17-year-old famously played a part in Liverpool scoring their fourth goal against Barcelona in their 2018-19 Champions League semi-final second leg.
Cannonier quickly got the ball to Trent Alexander-Arnold, who in turn bamboozled the Barca defence with a quickly-taken corner for Divock Origi to curl home.
The youngster recently told LFCTV (via Goal.com): “I want to be known as a ‘legend’ for a different reason, not for being a ballboy!”
And he’s certainly making a name for himself as a superb prospect.
Here’s what some Liverpool fans made of Cannonier’s latest display:
