Wolverhampton Wanderers fought back to earn a share of the spoils against Newcastle United in the Premier League last night.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men were behind deep into stoppage time when Wily Boly came up trumps and nodded home an equaliser.
It was no more than the hosts deserved.
Isaac Hayden had given the Magpies the lead in the first half but in truth, Wolves had dominated the game from start to finish.
Santo’s men stay in seventh in the Premier League and will hope to maintain some decent form for the remainder of the campaign.
Wolves missed several chances on a frustrating night but luckily they did get something for their efforts right at the death.
Boly is becoming something of a cult hero at Molineux.
He made 36 appearances last season as Wolves romped to the Championship title, before signing permanent terms during the summer.
He has popped with a few important goals this season, with his two prior to last night coming against Manchester City and Tottenham.
The 28-year-old is a mainstay in Santo’s team and he is relishing life playing Premier League football.
Following his stoppage-time header, Twitter has been full of Wolves fans reacting to the big defender.
TBR Football rounded-up the best tweets on Boly following the contest.
