Wolves transfer news: Romano says 'here we go soon' on another signing after Lemina

Wolverhampton Wanderers have just announced the signing of Mario Lemina from French outfit Nice.

The Gabon international is the second Wolves signing of the January transfer window.

Lemina joins Atletico Madrid loanee Matheus Cunha in linking up with the Molineux outfit this month.

However, Wolves aren’t done yet. Two more signings should be coming through the Molineux door soon.

This is according to Fabrizio Romano, who has taken to Twitter to declare ‘here we go soon’ on Pablo Sarabia.

The transfer insider claimed Wolves and Paris Saint-Germain are discussing the ‘final details’.

He then relayed Saber Desfarges’ report regarding the fee – €5million plus add-ons.

Romano also reported that, alongside Sarabia, Joao Gomes will also be expected to join Wolves soon.

After Lemina’s signing, Romano reiterated that Sarabia and Gomes are “next” for Wolves.

As per the Express & Star, Sarabia will add another option in attack for Julen Lopetegui’s squad.

Goal.com has reported that he will pen a two-and-a-half-year deal at Molineux, with the option of an extra year.

Sarabia apparently had numerous offers on the table, but chose Wolves due to his desire to play in the Premier League.

And Lopetegui saw the 30-year-old as a priority signing, added the Goal.com report.

He hasn’t had the best of seasons at the French club this term, failing to register a goal or assist in 14 league appearances.

However, Sarabia did do well on loan at Sporting CP last season, with 20 goal contributions.

In 2019, talkSPORT described Sarabia as a player with ‘an all-action style’.

They also said he’s ‘two-footed, with an eye for a pass, excellent delivery from set-pieces, a finishing touch, and happy to run himself into the ground.’
