Wolves transfer news: Fabrizio Romano shares fresh update on Pablo Sarabia

Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to complete the signing of Pablo Sarabia from Paris Saint-Germain today.

That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who revealed in a tweet this morning that the versatile Spain international has accepted all of Wolves‘ conditions to seal a transfer to the Molineux this month.

Fabrizio Romano says Wolves will sign Pablo Sarabia

Wolves have had a shocking season in the Premier League so far.

Bruno Lage is an excellent manager in his own right, but he lost his job after a bunch of terrible results. The Wanderers had won just once in 15 games and the board decided they had seen enough.

Lage was shown the door and in came Julen Lopetegui. The Spaniard has taken charge of six games so far, as per Transfermarkt, and he has won just two of them. However, he is being backed to turn Wolves’ fortunes around in the coming months.

Matheus Cunha and Mario Lemina have already come in this window, and both players can be brilliant on their day. Lopetegui, however, isn’t done just yet.

He’s about to complete another signing soon – Sarabia from PSG – and Romano has revealed that the deal could go through in the coming hours.

The journalist tweeted this morning: “Wolves will complete documents for Pablo Sarabia deal in the next hours. €5m (£4.4m) fee confirmed, add-ons agreed and Sarabia accepted all the conditions.”

Sarabia has won nine trophies since the start of the 2019/20 campaign. Lopetegui will be hoping he can come in and instil a winning mentality at Wolves to get them out of the relegation zone in the coming months.
