Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in midfielder Kerem Demirbay from Bundesliga club Hoffenheim.

According to Calciomercato, Wolves and West Ham are both interested in the German ace.

The report details that he was previously on the radar of AC Milan too and that his contract with Hoffenheim is due to expire in 2022.

Demirbay is a central midfielder that could be a quality addition at Molineux for Wolves, as he’s been a star performer in the Bundesliga this campaign and had Champions League experience too.

He’s made 29 appearances across all competitions this term, scoring four goals and supplying nine assists in return.

Wolves are still chasing down a seventh-placed finish in the Premier League, but they have done it without the biggest of squads and will need more bodies if they do qualify for Europe next season.

Manager Nuno Espirito Santo has the likes of Joao Moutinho, Ruben Neves and Leander Dendoncker as main options in the centre of the park.

Meanwhile, Romain Saiss and upcoming talent Morgan Gibbs-White have been used at times too.

But 25-year-old Demirbay is an all-action midfielder that would fit in nicely with the high intensity Wolves style and add some extra goals from midfield.
