Wolverhampton Wanderers are now reportedly in the hunt to sign Liverpool centre-forward Dominic Solanke in the January transfer window.
According to the Express, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are interested in the 21-year-old alongside Rangers and Huddersfield.
The report details the striker is likely to be on the move in January due to the fact he’s not made a first-team appearance this campaign.
Wolves are in desperate need of an extra attacker to compete with Raul Jimenez in the second half of the season and the target from Liverpool ticks all the boxes.
Solanke is an upcoming talent that has shown in glimpses his quality at Anfield and needs some regular first-team football to truly express himself.
It would be some coup to bring him to Molineux on loan or on a permanent deal and they should go all out for his signature.
Solanke has proven he’s a natural finisher with England’s Under-21s side and scored four times in just two games during the last international break.
He would be magic under Nuno due to the fact he can be lethal in the box and Wolves just need someone to finish off their chances on a more frequent basis.
Solanke is also a physical presence with his frame and is quality in the air, which makes him the ideal competition for Jimenez.
