Wolves supporters react to Adama Traore’s display in late win over Slovan Bratislava

The winger played his part as Wolves edged ever closer to qualification.

Wolves are on the brink of qualification for the knockout stages of the Europa League after a 1-0 home victory over Slovan Bratislava last night.

Raul Jimenez netted the late winner near the start of an extended period of stoppage time to put the Old Gold five points ahead of their visitors in third, with just two Group K games remaining.

Nuno Santo might have feared his side had missed their big chance to clinch a winner after Ruben Neves missed a second half penalty but Jimenez came good.

The man who set up the winning header was Adama Traore, who continued his impressive form in a season which has seen him belatedly find his feet at Molineux.

Traore is showing his talent this term and the supporters on Twitter appeared impressed with yet another performance of speed and unstinting commitment which culminated in a moment which went a long way to swinging the game Wolvesโ€™ way.

The challenge for him has always been to become a player capable of influencing matches on a regular basis and the signs are that heโ€™s starting to do that.

Santo will hope for more of that if, as expected, his side progresses to the knockout rounds after a night of late drama at Molineux.
