Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly considering a move for Juventus winger Douglas Costa this summer after Liverpool raided the Midlands side to sign Diogo Jota – and Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter.
Jota completed a move to Liverpool last week in a move that was somewhat out of the blue, completing a £45million move to the Premier League champions. It comes after the Portugal ace scored 16 goals last term, and created six more.
Now, Wolves are setting about replacing Jota – despite spending a fee in the region of £35million on Barcelona’s Nelson Semedo with reports stating a move is close to completion. Their attention has returned to Juve star Costa.

Italian website CalcioMercato claim that 30-year-old Costa is not a part of Andrea Pirlo’s plans going forward, largely because of the Brazil international’s £105k-a-week wages. Juve are looking to trim their wage bill and that includes Costa.
The report states that Wolves are preparing to meet Juve’s asking price of £32million plus bonuses. Whether Costa is open to a move to Wolves, a side that failed to qualify for European football this season, remains to be seen.
Wolves supporters have responded to the reports they could be about to lure Costa to Molineux this summer and many are desperate to see the ex-Bayern Munich speedster in a Wolves shirt.
