Many Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have lavished praise on midfielder Joao Moutinho, after he was named the club’s Player of the Season.
The 32-year-old scooped the fan-voted award, while striker Raul Jimenez received the Players’ Player.

Moutinho has been quietly brilliant for the Black Country club following his bargain £5 million transfer from AS Monaco last summer (BBC Sport).
The Portugal international has been slept on by many neutrals this term, but he is utterly adored by Wolves fans.
Ruben Neves takes a lot of the plaudits and while the 22-year-old has impressed in his first season in the Premier League, Moutinho has arguably been Wolves’ best player.
Despite his advancing years Moutinho featured in 44 games across all competitions, contributing one goal and eight assists.

The star makes everything tick for Nuno Espirito’s side, and fans haven’t been able to believe their luck over how cheap he was.
