Wolves supporters hail Adama Traore display in Europa League

Wolverhampton Wanderers picked up a vital 1-0 away win against Besiktas on Thursday – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter went wild for the performance of Adama Traore.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side beat Turkish side Besiktas by a narrow margin in the Europa League group stages and had a defender to thank for his late input.

Willy Boly scored in the 93rd minute to snatch three points late on in Turkey and it was an ideal result after losing home to Braga in the opening group match.

They are hoping they can be dark horses in the Europa League competition this campaign and certainly have a group of players at Molineux capable of going far.

A selection of Wolves supporters on social media picked out Traore for his display, as he injected some real quality from the bench.

Traore entered the action as a half-time substitute in place of Pedro Neto and he asked lots of questions from Besiktas defenders.

The 23-year-old right-winger provided a serious threat out wide with his pace and trickery, something that fans have seen a lot more from him this season.

His performances have certainly gone up a notch this campaign as he gets more comfortable at the club and he’s turning into an important attacker player under Nuno.
