Wolves want Sparta Prague striker Benjamin Tetteh to boost their attacking options this month, according to the Daily Mail.
They report that the Old Gold have opened talks with the Ghanaian hitman, who has nine league goals to his name this season which has drawn comparisons to a young Didier Drogba.
Galatasaray have reportedly bid £7m for the frontman but his club are holding out for £11m, which is well within Wolves’ remit considering they were apparently ready to bid more than that for Tammy Abraham earlier this month.
As well as Abraham, Wolves have already enquired about Divock Origi on their intense striker search, which is exacerbated by reports that backup hitman Leo Bonatini will be allowed to leave on loan.

But despite their clear desperation for increased attacking depth, Wolves shouldn’t dive into a bid for Tetteh.
With the future of Raul Jimenez still up in the air, Wolves’ investment in their next frontman needs to be a considered decision because it’s a huge investment which could shape their hopes next season.
Their position in the league is such that Nuno Santo doesn’t need to panic buy a hitman, especially one who would take time to adjust to the division, which means they can hang fire on Tetteh for now.
