Wolverhampton Wanderers should consider joining the race to sign RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate this summer.
The young Frenchman has been making waves over in the Bundesliga with some dominant displays at the back.
The imposing central defender is enjoying his breakout season with the German outfit after joining the club from Sochaux last season.

According to Sport Bild via ESPN, Arsenal are watching Konate and could swoop, with West Ham United also supposedly interested.
The precocious talent is clearly hot property, but one team that could really do with reinforcements in defence is Wolves.
Thread bare Wolves need cover
Wolves are not exactly inundated with options in defence at the moment.
Ryan Bennett, Willy Boly and Conor Coady are used in a three-man defence for most games.

Leander Dendoncker can play at centre-half but has been shining in midfield lately. Romain Saiss has also been used in midfield this season.
The club do have 18-year-old Cameron John but he is yet to be deemed ready for first-team responsibilities.
Certainly there is need for cover and Konate could be a brilliant signing.
The 19-year-old would be a long-term prospect, but he’s already playing to a standard beyond his tender years.

A mainstay in the Leipzig team this term, he wins on average 3.3 aerial duels per game, 3.2 clearances, 2.4 interceptions and 2.1 tackles, according to WhoScored.
He is a proactive and physically imposing defender who is maturing very quickly – Wolves would be foolish ignore the hype.
