Wolves should join hunt for Ismaila Sarr to improve attack

Wolverhampton Wanderers currently sit seventh in the Premier League table and a European finish seems very much in their sights.

There are a number of teams in mid-table that are more than capable of a great run between now and the end of the season to catapult into European football for next season.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side certainly can be the best of the rest outside the top six and a marquee signing on deadline day could really push them on to a memorable return to the top flight.

One weaker area of the Wolves group right now is in wide areas, where they could do with an extra quality to chip in with more goals and ease the burden on in-form centre-forward Raul Jimenez.

They should turn their attention to winger Ismaila Sarr from French club Stage Rennais, as he could be an ideal addition.

According to WIW Sport, Everton are keen on bringing in the 20-year-old during the January window due to his impressive form in Ligue 1.

Crystal Palace were also mentioned as potential suitors in December (Le Quotidien), with a £26million price tag mentioned in the report.

Wolves should hijack interest and try a last-gasp move to bring him to the Premier League.

Sarr is a wide man renowned for his blistering pace and technical ability, while he’s also got 20 senior international caps for Senegal at his young age.

He’s made 29 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring nine goals and supplying six assists in return.
