Wolves should consider gamble move for Renato Sanches

Wolverhampton Wanderers have enjoyed a great return to the top flight and have a chance to finish seventh in the Premier League during their remaining five games.

Manager Nuno Espirito Santo has led the success with a core of Portuguese players running through his team, with the likes of Rui Patricio, Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota and Joao Moutinho extremely vital.

The West Midlands club should look for a couple more additions to bring to Molineux in the summer and it would be easy for a Portuguese player to bed into the group.

Wolves should consider a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches, who is reportedly set to be shipped out on loan next season.

According to the Daily Mail, German heavyweights Bayern want to send the 21-year-old on loan next year.

Sanches cost £28million back in 2016 after his breakout tournament at Euro 2016 as a senior Portugal international and still has immense potential.

The youngster has since failed during a loan spell in the Premier League with Swansea City, but returned to Bayern this campaign to look much more like himself.

He is an all-action central midfielder that is technically capable and has an eye for goal, but is just trying to find some consistency to his game.

The playmaker has made 22 senior appearances for Bayern this term to help get back on track and it could be worth another Premier League team taking a gamble on him.

Wolves should consider a low risk gamble by considering Sanches on loan, as Molineux could end up being a great destination for him and he could fit the nice blend that already exists at the club.

There is quite a reliance on the preferred midfield trio of Neves, Moutinho and Leander Dendoncker, which is why it would be good for Wolves to strengthen their options.
