Wolves should chase deal for Leicester midfielder Adrien Silva

Leicester City could reportedly offload midfielder Adrien Silva on loan in January, which is why Wolverhampton Wanderers should be first in line to try snap him up.

According to the Telegraph, Leicester’s £22million signing may depart the King Power Stadium on loan in the New Year after a lack of game time under Claude Puel.

The 29-year-old has made just five appearances across all competitions this season and has slipped down the pecking order at the Foxes.

But Wolves should be all over a loan deal for him and try to negotiate a move that takes him to Molineux for the second half of the season.

Silva may not have shown his best qualities in England with Leicester, but he previously was a crucial player at Sporting Lisbon and is a technically gifted ace.

The central midfielder is extremely comfortable on the ball in tight areas and he’d be a perfect fit into the style of Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.

Wolves could do with an extra reinforcement in midfield for January to compete with the likes of Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Morgan Gibbs-White and Romain Saiss.

It’s unclear on if Leicester would be prepared to offload to a potential direct rival in the league, but Silva ticks a lot of boxes for Wolves.
