This summer it seemed that Wolverhampton Wanderers were ready to sell Ivan Cavaleiro. The Portuguese forward seemed to have fallen out of favour at Molineux. Back in June, it was reported by TEAMtalk that Huddersfield Town had agreed a £12 million fee for the player.
With Wolves promoted and new players set to arrive, it seemed the club were ready to let him move on.
However, Cavaleiro ended up staying. The new season has been tough for the 24-year-old, who has been suffering from a back injury. It was interesting to see whether the attacker was going to come into the fold for Wolves once fit.

The talented forward has swiftly worked his way back into the Wolves side, proving that it was right to keep him at Wolves this summer.
Yesterday saw him come on in the second half against Southampton and completely change the game. He bagged their opening goal of the game as Wolves picked up an impressive 2-0 win, with Johnny Otto Castro bagging the second.
Wolves clearly decided that it was best to keep Cavaleiro at Molineux this summer. It certainly seems he will have an impactful role to play at the club this season.
